Unravel everything about a website

Amit@DI has an amazingly helpful post how to find out everything about a website – what hosting company is used by a website, is it accessible from China-Japan, what other sites are hosted on a web server (reverse IP lookup), what web technology is being used by a site etc.

    How can I find the number of hits on a website… I know Alexa provides the ranking but there hit rate graph formula is quite confusing and then it only records the data from those who have Alexa tool bar installed.. is there any other way to find the number of hits on different website which don’t belong to me???
