Lead Developer for Valyoo Technologies

We have created web products and applications that have enabled companies to streamline operations, develop existing businesses and launch new products or services.
Valyoo is in the process of expanding its current team. We require self-motivated and creative individuals with good communication skills who enjoy collaborative problem solving in a cross-functional environment. Candidates should be dynamic and effective at delivering product initiatives on time and in scope. If you’ve got a passion for Web 2.0, the ability to work effectively within a team environment and a tendency to think out of the box you’ll certainly fit right in!
As a tech lead at Valyoo, you will be given the freedom to implement new ideas and features using state of the art coding and design standards. You will be managing a small, select team of software engineers and working hand in hand with the marketing and business development divisions to create new products.
Who we’d like you to be
• B.E/B.Eng/B.Tech
• At least 3 years of experience in PHP, MySql
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Smarty
• Knowledge of user interface design and usability
• Experience with Subversion, JavaScript, CSS and OO programming
What we’d like you to do
• Manage the existing development team
• Set development guidelines
• Participate in project scope definition
• Define project technology and architecture
• Set quality assurance practices
• Oh yea…and code!
We care about your past work whether it is projects as part of your current job or maybe even independent or freelance projects that are visible on the web. We're looking for web-savvy hackers who know JavaScript, Flash and PHP and can use them effectively in creating valyooable web applications.
