		<description>Most of the online ads seen are from the travel, matrimony, jobs trio. Recently, I have noticed universities like Symbiosis and Pearl advertise.

Online advertising still has some catching up to do in India with only 190 companies trying to advertise on Rediff.</description>

		<description>Perhaps someone ought to dig updata on how many of these advertisers are mainstream versus pure online businesses. 

I often see ads from DELL, HP, Auto Makers. No idea how much of the online ad business is coming from these guys. I don&#039;t see much in the Entertainment vertical.

Google&#039;s self-serve AdSense has been gaining traction with online businesses and again is missing mainstream advertisers.
