I would like to clarify a few things. Though the concept of user submitted news items is the same as digg etc, the working of yiktik is completely different than digg. The site was completey written from scratch by us and does NOT run on pligg or meneame, which are usually called digg clones. As for the side bars etc, they are work in progress.
