Tata Group is planning to launch its online mall, where products from the entire Tata portfolio will be available for online purchase. The site is expected to launch in the next two months.
At this point, I’m not sure of what all products will be sold via their online portal. Consumer products makes the most sense, but it comprises of a small fraction of the entire Tata conglomerate. Even then, this actually could be a huge thing, because depending on what products are made available online, it could emerge as one of the top e-commerce portals in India.

A lot of big players have entered in selling online.Even big bazaar is selling stuff online.
Do you think the time is right to start a deal2buy.com(covering even non electronic products) like site for india.Earlier the market itself was not mature enough since ecommerce was not much in India.What do you suggest Pranav. Also if at all there is a site like that, how will it make money (is Ads the only way)
