Online travel portal FlightRaja has received $5 million investment from NEA Indo US Ventures. Besides other things, the investment is aimed to help the company to expand beyond just flight booking and foray into other services. As a result, they plan to rename the service as ‘Via’ to move beyond the association with flights only.
Vani Kola, Managing Director, NEA-IndoUS Ventures, has joined VIA’s Board of Directors.
Via joins the list of other Indian travel portals that have raised venture money.
