Some of the sessions are great but some others seemed to be more like an act of self promotion.

The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is organizing a conference on Web 2.0 – “The Web’s Next Frontier”. Agenda includes panel discussions based on varied perspectives including entrepreneurs, marketers, investors and media. List of invited speakers includes Avnish Bajaj (Founding partner, Matrix Partners), Ashish Kashyap (CEO MIH Pvt ltd.), Jaspreet Bindra (Country head, MSN India), Kiruba Shankar (veteran Indian blogger) amongst several other execs.

The annual media and entertainment convention is being organized in Mumbai 26th – 28th March. The industry is projected to grow at a compounded annual rate of 18% to about Rs 100,000 crores.

I dont make predictions and stuff but something tells me that you’ll definitely hear from Rajat Barjatya of Rajshri.com at the event .

Barcamp Bangalore 3 is right around the corner – March 31 – April 1.  Besides Internet, mobiles, the theme also includes impact of technology on society.

Honestly, I’ve always been biased about tennis. And so team India – I dont really care. I dont care if you win or lose. I dont care if advertisers bear heaps of losses. I dont care if the thousands of Indian fans will be disappointed.

The one thing I care about – an early dismissal will deprive me of sexy Mandira Bedi’s charms.

And so for her sake alone, I cheer you on – Go team India. Stick it out till the end.
