Fresh off the success of its lunar mission, Chandrayaan, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is working on a satellite, which will provide Internet connectivity to rural India.
The satellite is planned to be launched within the next two years.
Earlier this year, Japan launched a satellite that provides crazy fast Internet.

I think we must use satellites in the fight against terrorism. High resolution (upto 10 m) are possible today. And image processing techniques exist to detect suspicious activity. We must think of innovative ways to make our lives safer.
I am happy…finally we can have T1 connections …. simply rocks……..cant wait for this to go live…..
