Some great resources for startups and entrepreneurs

* Marc Andreessen’s blog.

Marc’s blog offers some refreshing views on startups and entrepreneurship. Whenever you get a chance, definitely read his latest post, titled “The Pmarca Guide to Startup - part 1: Why not to do a startup”. His posts are frank, illustrative and very insightful.

* Om Malik’s Found-Read

The site is not a blog, but rather involves a lot of user participation as well. You can read experiences shared by other entrepreneurs related to VC funding, moonlighting, pricing your service/product etc. You can also sign up and post any questions you may have related to startups - VC - entrepreneurship

* VentureHacks

The site helps you navigate the big,bad world of venture funding, term sheets etc. It helps you understand how equity is determined, how VC process works, the technicalities of VC term sheets etc. They also hold a teleconference that you can attend and ask questions related to the funding process

    Yup I have been following Marc Andreessen’s blog since he started blogging (not very long ago…a couple of weeks back I guess). And I have already put it in the “@1 Priority” category in my RSS reader! I truly enjoy reading his posts.
    I also liked VentureHacks, but I didn’t find GigaOm’s blog too interesting or informative (atleast to me). Also quite often I don’t buy into the arguments that he puts forward regarding some of the emerging technologies and companies.
