Condolences for Indian student shot at Virginia Tech on Orkut

As soon as IBNLive released the story about Minal Panchal, an Indian student and a fatality of the horrendous tragedy at VT, condolences have started pouring in on her Orkut scrapbook.

Amazing - how powerful Orkut and Facebook have become. Facebook started a separate group specifically for the students affected by this tragedy and students were actually using Facebook to convey their friends / family that they were safe.

    Virginia Tech Shooting: Minal, Where Are You?…

    Update: Startup Dunia is pointing to an article over on IBN Live listing Minal among the dead. I have not seen her name on any official list online, (or other media outlets confirming her status) so I am for now assuming otherwise….
