IndyaRocks - Indian MySpace ?

Mashable has a post on a new Indian social networking site called IndyaRocks. Looks pretty cool from the screenshot and also promises a lot of great features - SMS integration, photos, bookmarking, web clipping and blog integration.

They are still in private beta and their blog is herePhoneLinx (not yet launched) is the parent company and the founders seem to be based out of San Jose, USA.

  1. I honestly don’t know what’s so cool about this. There is almost nothing specific about this to India other than the logo and the SMS feature. Even the country dropdown doesn’t default to India!

  3. Pranav, Thanks for mentioning Indyarocks in your Blog.

Roj, Thanks for going through the site. What we have is just the social platform with Media features now.. It is the community which will make it more Indian than anything else.. apart from that we are bringing in regional content pretty soon (Begins April 30th).. And yes.. thanks for mentioning the country list.. we will have that corrected. :-)

    Cheers, Have Fun..
